About me
I am a relationship specialist. I began my professional career some 30 years ago. In additional to my Psychology Doctoral degree, I also hold a Master of Divinity degree and a Post-degree Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked with couples preparing for marriage and with couples who are in long term committed relationships. I also work with partnerships in which marriage is not necessarily an important component. I have provided couples and families with Issues of substance abuse; domestic violence; sexual performance and sexual expectations as well as infidelity concerns; parenting difficulties; extended (in-laws) family, multigenerational, and nuclear family relationships; budgeting and finance concerns. I approach couples' treatment needs using a variety of techniques and methods. My primary theoretical base is Bowenian Family Systems and Existential Family Psychology.
