About me
I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and I graduated with a Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. I have over 15 years of professional work experience. I have experience working with aging population, disabled individuals, child protection with the Department of Children and Families, juvenile detention for boys and girls, state prison population, and military families. My treatment approach is depending on of course the need and can be eclectic. I find that I utilize in therapy most the following theories: Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused. I enjoy helping clients with stress, anxiety, motivation, self esteem building, improving confidence, career difficulties, depression and employment difficulties. Working with children through abuse issues, low self-esteem issues, blended families and loss are situations that are strongly on my heart to support. Military family issues because of the many transitions they have to make is also a passion of mine. It takes courage to seek out help or support from others and I commend you on making the decision to make life better.
