I enjoy working with a diverse clientele; I enjoy helping people in general navigate through life challenges.
My theoretical orientation in therapy is Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy. My counseling style is very laid back; I launch from a strength perspective; always exploring the strengths of the individual.

VaKendall is so easy to talk to. Has a wonderful spirit. I have only been with him 3 times in counseling, but I am certain God chose him for us.
VaKendall has been great for us so far. He checks in if it’s been a while and makes sure to listen to exactly what we say so that he can best help us move forward. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
He has been very helpful with ways to help us strengthen our relationship and overcome some difficult things. He's given us tips to help us communicate better and it has made us have more appreciation for each other.
VaKendall is great. He listens very well and gives good advice that actually helps.
Vakendall has been very helpful and insightful, marriage counseling is not easy and he has made it very open and communicative.
