I provide a safe space to explore and process the feelings and issues you are experiencing. I recognize the pain and suffering that unhealthy relationships can bring. We will work collaboratively in support of your goals. After answering some initial questions through messaging, we will work together each week towards positive changes in your life.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Rutgers University, a Master's degree in Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma, and All But Dissertation towards a Doctorate in Education in Counseling Psychology & Guidance at Rutgers University. I am a licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Florida, and have over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health.
My style would be best described as eclectic. It's based on the foundation of cognitive-behavioral theories and then adapts to each person's unique needs utilizing my experience, empathy and compassion to help you move forward in life. We can work on bettering the relationship, learning more effective ways of communicating or perhaps working with the difficult decision of ending the relationship.

Just like individuals, relationships are always a work in progress. Sometimes that work is difficult and a lot of times that work is fun!
