About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of in the field. I have experience working with couples and families, including those with anger management issues, to help resolve relationship conflicts. I help clients to improve interpersonal communication, to become better listeners, and to be more understanding of their partner’s needs. I assist clients who are transitioning after separations or divorces, and guide parents who are working through these issues with their children.
My counseling style is direct and caring. I demonstrate good listening skills, and encourage clients to actively engage in counseling sessions, and follow through with the treatment plan that we mutually design. In therapy, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.
