I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with over 20 years of experience as a Therapist. Working with couples can be both challenging and rewarding. I have worked with couples dealing with issues of infidelity, abuse, financial problems and just growing apart. Relationship counseling takes commitment from both parties. If you are committed to working through your issues and to do the homework needed to make your relationship even better, I can help you. And, if you no longer wish to remain together, I can assist you in a peaceful and respectful transition.
There are so many things to consider when deciding to stay or not stay together, from issues over children, to finances, to friends and extended family members. It is not to be taken lightly. Couples counseling is a serious matter. I can always work with one partner if the other is not willing to participate but it is always better if both parties participate.. I strongly believe there are numerous ways to approach any and all issues. One size does not fit all and what is best for you may not be traditional talk therapy or maybe it is. Whatever your needs are is paramount for me. Everyone I work with is always treated as an individual and with respect and compassion.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Teresa helped my husband and I reconnect. We are back communicating, touching, and a partnership. She dealt with both of us with such kindness, understanding, and encouragement. So grateful to have met her and thankful for the hard work she does.
Teresa has been helpful providing a third party's non-biased perspective. She has provided goals for each of us to work on. Teresa is supportive and friendly and I would highly recommend her to provide guidance to others whether single or in a relationship. She is an asset to the Regain team! :)
This is my first session with regain and Teresa has tackled my struggles in connecting with life issues making it easier to live well. She has busted through roadblocks that enabled more confidence to shine through.
My husband and I are truly grateful for Teresa. She literally reminded us what it takes to keep our marriage above waters. But most importantly she allowed us to connect to our true selves by reflecting on where we come from and where we want to go. We’re team Teresa all the way!
I really appreciate how calm and patient you are.
Ms. Worthy is kind, caring, and empathetic. I would suggest her expertise if you are going through a tough time. An amazing professional, she is the kind of human being is a blessing to meet along your life path.
Teresa understands how to mediate the conversation professionally and effectively. She provides good direction and understanding to our needs. We are going to know her and from the beginning already saw potential in growing with her as a counselor.
She is fantastic. Listens and ask great nonjudgmental questions.
