About me
As a therapist, I understand the bravery it takes to be completely vulnerable with another
individual. My role in the counseling room is to meet you right where you are with respect,
compassion, and non-judgement. I find it a privilege to journey with a client.
Hi, I’m Tavares Bostic, I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Best known for my down-to-earth and very sound approach, I look to help people marry the discontent they may
feel in their lives, with proven coping mechanisms focusing on reducing symptoms related to
their mental health diagnosis. With over a decade of experience, I have long been an advocate for
helping remove the stigma attached to mental illness, helping couples renew their love and focus
to one another, and ensuring that older adults in assisted living and retirement communities
become educated on symptoms which are directly related to mental health diagnoses and become
motivated to address them by engaging in psychotherapy and most appropriate psychotropic
medication.
I was blessed enough to earn my master’s in social work with a certification in clinical mental
health from The University of Pittsburgh and my bachelors of social work from North Carolina
A&T State University. I believe that the combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and Reality
therapy is one of the most effective ways of empowering individuals to become their best. I have
had the opportunity to work in multiple settings over the past 10 years and I’ve covered mental
illness across the spectrum.
Let’s sort out what troubles you in healthy ways by exploring your individual experience, and uncovering your unique strengths. I want to empower you to
find your best path through this life as you heal from past hurts and search for meaning, purpose, and direction.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tavares Bostic. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
We have been working with Tavares Bostic for the past 6 months, and we couldn't be happier with the progress we have made in our relationship. Tavares is incredibly relatable and easy to talk to, which has helped us feel comfortable opening up and working through our issues. He is always responsive to our needs and concerns, and provides valuable insights and guidance that have truly helped us navigate our challenges. We are grateful to have found such a skilled and caring therapist in Tavares, and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of couples counseling. Thank you, Tavares, for all that you do!
It's been quite helpful so far.
Tavares is a personable active listener that creates a neutral space for me and my partner to communicate. He offers valuable input in a effort to aide us in reaching our goals. Highly recommend seeking Tavares for your personal or relational therapy needs.
Mr. Bostic has really helped us find better ways to communicate with each other. He also sends us helpful prompts so that we can start to process some of the things that don't always come up authentically.
Tavares has helped us learn to communicate, find the under lying issues that cause any turbulence for us and has lead to our family as a whole being happier because of our reconnection. Hands down the best therapist.
From the moment I read his profile, I knew he would be a great fit for what I was looking for in my therapist. He is attentive and proactive. Very upset I did not find him sooner.
I feel he really is considering both of our needs and personalities. Asked some hard questions that made us both think but that needed to be looked at. Calm and peaceful energy!
We both feel like Tavares is an amazing therapist. He is patient and kind. He’s great at keeping things neutral and making sure we are always working towards solutions instead of just fights. He has helped us both understand ourselves and each other in a very approachable way. We look forward to our continued work with him and can’t wait to see how our relationship evolves. We can’t thank him enough for his help on this path.
