About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 40 years experience. I practice behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy, eclectic and existential therapy, as well as hypnosis. I grew up in a multicultural community, which is why I make a concerted effort to provide a very safe clinical setting. I understand how difficult it is to reach out for help, and so my philosophy has been to be there when talking with your best friend isn't enough.

* Coping with stress and life changes
* Anxiety and depression
* Trauma and abuse
* Grief
* Self-esteem and career difficulties
* emotional changes with health problems

Being in a couple, whether married or not, can be stressful. Having children or pets can add a new component,too. One of the issues can be who makes primary decisions. Both persons or one person? Who makes financial decisions? What is the spirituality of the couple? How do they get along with family and friends? These are just a few of the potential pressures a couple may experience. Stress management can involve complex decisions. If you feel the need for an objective listener, someone to help with objective feedback, consider contacting me to share your issues.
