About me
Hi! I am a LCSW (License Clinical Social Worker) in Texas. I have been in the Mental Health field for over 30 years. I graduated from Kansas State University with my BSW and my MSW from the University of Kansas. I participated in a 2 year post graduate training program at Menninger's for marriage and family therapist.
I have worked in schools, hospitals, out patient mental health offices, and in patient psychiatric hospitals. This means I have worked with all types of issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, substance abuse, marriage, divorce, and grief. I bring all my experiences into our sessions to work on what may assist you on your journey. I am very client centered in my sessions, I use Bowen Family Systems Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Solution- Focused Therapy , Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
