About me

My name is Sarah Cooper I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. I received my Bachelors in Social Work from UCF and my Masters in Community Counseling Psychology from Springfield College in Tampa. I have worked in community substance abuse and mental health. I have experience in working with both adults and adolescents. I have worked with those involved with the criminal justice system, addiction issues, anxiety, stress, depression life-skills, anger management, and others. I also have cross cultural experience working in Namibia, Southern Africa, as a Peace Corps Volunteer as a Rural Youth Development Officer.

Counseling as a couple can be both challenging and rewarding. The feelings and emotions of those involved as separate individuals but also as a couple.
The identification of your goals as a couple would be a key part of the counseling process.

I am available to do traditional counseling, or counseling with a spiritual or Christian based focus.
