About me

“Re-Think” to Re-Gain. I believe that it is important for couples to “Re-Think” in order to Re-Gain. Re-thinking your perceptions about marriage; Re-thinking what you have observed from other married couples, now or while growing up; Re-thinking negative or destructive advice you received about marriage; and Re-thinking selfish or unreasonable expectations; Re-Thinking the “Me” and exchanging it for “We.” I believe that the more you take the time to “Re-Think” the less likely you will “Re-Peat” the same old negative, toxic, destructive reactions, and selfish behaviors that ruin relationships. As you learn to “Re-Think” you will learn to “Respond,” not “React.”
In my experience working with couples, many will say, “We used to be happy; We used to spend a lot of time together; We used to talk for hours.” You are not alone in your struggle. You don't have to become a part of the 50% on the failed marriage side, It is possible to be on the 50% success side and thrive. There are no guarantees. You have taken the hardest step by seeking help. It is my hope that you are taking a big step in seeking a more fulfilling and joyful life. This step takes courage and I am here to support you on your journey.
I have extensive experience helping couples restore and improve relationship dynamics and patterns of interaction. I earned a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and I hold a National Licensure, LCSW. I have been practicing for over 25 years. If you feel comfortable with my background, experience, and education, I would love a chance to work with you as a Couple’s Counselor.

Ruby is awesome. She really listens to my concerns and isn’t afraid to express her professional experiences in regard to my issues. She offers worksheets for assistance in therapy and is open to hearing from others in regard to resolving family issues.
