About Me

“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”
― Shannon L. Alder

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years’ experience in community mental health. My areas of specific practice are providing individual and group therapy services to adults, couples, and families. I provide a comfortable atmosphere for you to express yourself, unburden, and examine those things that hinder you from moving forward in your personal or professional life. I thoroughly enjoy watching couples change and their relationship evolve into something meaningful, fruitful, and fulfilling for both parties. I love working in the mental health field and feeling like I make a difference in the lives of others.

I have a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. I have been an LPC since 2006 and am in good standing with the Virginia State Board of Counseling.

If you are ready to change the trajectory of your relationship, I am here to help!
