About Me

I have a Master's degree in clinical psychology and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. I have been providing marital and relationship counseling for 25 years. I have special training in working with families with addiction issues, co-dependency, infidelity and parenting issues. I believe that in order to help people make positive changes, one must first acknowledge and accept where they are without judgement or shame. I think people need to have their feelings validated and it must be understood that there is a logic and motivation behind every human behavior. A client centered approach is vital to building a trusting relationship to help people move from where they are to whee they want to be. I use a combination of client centered therapy along with solution focused therapy to help people achieve their goals. I would be honored to embark on your healing journey with you and look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Reviews

Written by T.R. on Oct 13, 2020 after counseling with Patti for 1 month on issues concerning relationship

Patti has done a great job supporting my wife and I as we work on restoring our marriage. She has allowed us to move forward at our own pace and continues to guide us to a happier better marriage.
