My name is Mignon like (filet mIgnon) and I have a Master of Arts Degree and am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Nevada. My expertise in counseling as a therapist the past 20 years are: grief, couple therapy, family dynamics, foster care reunification/adoption, trauma, stress and anxiety. I had the honor of working at various branches of the military and installations in and outside the USA, counseling military personnel and their families in the area of grief, stressors of deployment and reintegration.
My counseling style is based on a warm, caring and compassionate interest on couples and their needs. Areas of counseling and interventions provided to couples have been: positive and effective communication, identifying the root cause of disputes, bringing closure to past disputes, balancing stress and responsibilities in the relationship, and identifying goals and solutions for on-going disputes.
Reaching out for help takes courage and fortitude. If you take the first step, I will provide support and empower you in achieving a more fulfilling life.
