About Me

When I began my career change to the helping field, I chose to be educated as a community mental health professional to receive the training that would afford me the therapeutic resources for meeting the counseling needs of my community. I have work experience with various socioeconomic status, clinical diagnosis and in treatment settings. I am extremely passionate about my work as a therapist and pride myself in connection. I genuinely care about people and always seek to establish a rapport with my client as quickly as possible. I believe great theapists are born and I am finally doing my life's work. I often hear what is not being said and intuitively understand emotion. As a couples counselor I seek to meet with the couple and individually between couples sessions. I hope to assist couples in reaching their chosen goals. Should client needs ever exceed my expertise they will be referred for the best possible therapeutic help.

I am a Board Certified National Certified Counselor, Licensed in Professional Counseling. My education and experience cover all aspects of the individual, family, and couple dynamics. I am Trauma certified, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic interventions.

I have over 8 years of experience in mental health and substance addiction. I treat each client as a unique individual. I offer client specific treatment plans tailored to specific needs based on the client's chosen goals.

I look forward to connecting with you for a solution to your therapeutic needs.

Michelle is the first therapist I have had that I feel really provides relevant advice to help address my problems. I like that she is honest and calls me out when I’m in the wrong. My wife and I believe she was sent to us by a higher power because of what a perfect fit she is for our needs. Very professional but makes us feel very comfortable.

Michelle is amazing and has helped us so much! We've had a few therapists in the past, and Michelle has been the most effective. Talented mediator where both of us feel heard and are given actionable steps to improve our relationship. She is AMAZING!
