About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut with over 10 years of experience working as a Counselor. I have worked with couples in different age groups and phases of life. I have experience working with couples who are preparing to move in together, are currently cohabitating, preparing to get married, and who have been married for many years.

Each couple comes to counseling with goals as unique as the couple itself. My approach as Counselor is to assist each couple in developing mutually agreed on goals while facilitating more productive styles of communication. Modeling and facilitating more productive communication, including conflict resolution and compromise, boundary setting, closeness and affection, as well as issues unique to each couple throughout each session is important, as there is a consistent focus on working towards mutual goals and practicing more satisfying, healthy interactions.
