I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 16 years working with individuals, couples, families and adolescents. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Aurora University in Illinois and become licensed in Illinois and recently in Montana. I have experience with people who have depression, anxiety, PTSD and grief issues. I have also done therapy with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and have experienced other trauma in their lives. I have a therapy style that draws on several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapies. I believe that holistic approaches that acknowledge the mind, body and spirit connection can be very effective with people who are dealing with today's fast paced lives that often lead to stress related problems.
Couples come to therapy for many reasons from affairs, poor communication, fighting, and extended family issues. I often use an Emotional Intelligence approach to help couples look at destructive communication patterns and emotional reactivity and how this is impacting their relationship. Couples will be active in creating a plan to move forward using their own strengths and applying aspects of Gottman's Couples Therapy.

Mary Miller is an excellent counselor, she listens, she is understanding, she has wisdom and I trust her words of expertise.
Mary Miller is a great therapist. She is patient, kind, and knows how to keep the conversation on track. She is supportive and does a great job with building the therapeutic relationship and being a catalyst for assisting you with obtaining the desired change you want to see in your relationship.
Mary, has been great, she has been able to get us both to open up. It has taken some time for my husband but he is becoming a willing participant. Kudos for her taking her time to listen to us both
Mary really has my interests at heart! I was so glad to find her in a very difficult time.
