About me
I have had the honor of working with couples and family constellations facing many different life challenges, such as losses, betrayal, mistrust, parenting, trauma, illness, gender and cultural issues.
My strengths as a psychotherapist are to elicit and utilize personally and relationally hidden resources and tap into emotional and physical experiences creating flexibility, security and connectedness for change.
I specialize in relational dynamics. Relationships (of all types) can give us joy and comfort, but can also disappoint and hurt. How do you react in those moments of negativity? Couples counseling is a way to learn how to interact with your partner in a healthy and positive way.
I focus less on what is wrong and more on what is right as well as teaching couples the tools that make marriages last. We work on developing a sense of "we", building friendship, restoring trust, strengthening love, and bringing back hope into the relationship.
