About me
Marcus Daugherty is an Associate Vice president for System Innovation and Quality at Partnership to End Addiction. He received his BA in psychology and education from Hofstra University and Masters’ degrees in counseling and clinical psychology from the College at New Paltz of the State University of New York and Fielding Graduate University.
As a change leader and facilitator with over 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Daugherty has directed and overseen the delivery of SUD/MH services via mobile homeless outreach teams, shelter and Drop-In programs, and in residential and outpatient settings. He has supervised and trained mid-level managers on complex clinical, administrative and diversity issues.
Mr. Daugherty is presently an adjunct professor in human Services at the Metropolitan College of New York and maintains a private practice specializing affective/mood disorders, relationship, gender, diversity and multicultural challenges.
Mr. Daugherty is a an ABD and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor- Masters Level (CASAC-MC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and Master Addiction Counselor (MAC).
