Dr. Malissa Collins

(LPC)

About Me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I have over 10 years of experience providing services to children, youth, adults, and families. I have great experience providing mental health therapy/services to clients enduring anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, spirituality and change of life circumstances.

I have a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and utilize a systemic approach to helping couples and families work through struggles to enhance their quality of life and relationship functioning. I utilize a wide variety of skills/techniques that are tailored to fit both the couple's (and individuals' within the couple) needs. Oftentimes, struggles stem from systemic dysfunction which neither partner understands. I focus on rekindling love and compassion, mutual respect and friendship within the relationship. Building healthy relationships catered to each couple's unique needs and wants is such an asset to long lasting happy marriages.

Let's be intentional with pursuing a love that lasts! Looking forward to meeting and getting to know you!

Dr. Collins provides useful, and constructive feedback. Dr. Collins is a great listener, very understanding, relatable and recommends tools relevant to my situation.
