Hello, and welcome to my profile. am a clinical psychotherapist, licensed as an LPC in Texas. I have been working in the field of mental health, in various capacities for the past 34 years, and in private practice for 27 of those, including currently. I have had many years of trainings, and hold multiple certifications. Although I have worked with all ages and levels of clients, I am currently only working with adults, marriages, and couples. I also provide psychotherapy, counseling and life coaching. I have worked with marriage and couples relationships for nearly 25 years, and am happy to report many successes.
My general approach to therapy work, is to assess client's presenting issues and assist them to resolution of whatever is causing them the most distress. I use talk therapy, CBT, mindfulness, relaxation techniques and particularly focus on integrative processes. With couples working on relationships, I may assign "homework", readings, and other techniques as deemed helpful. I look forward to working with couples who are seeking to improve their communication and deepen their commitment to each other.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for M. Sue Echols. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
I would highly recommend Sue. She is skilled in her areas of expertise. She a great listener and offers lots of sound advice.
I and my partner have been working with Sue for a number of months, nearly coming up to a year.
She has been patient and caring whilst understanding me and my partner's needs. Her approach is of calming and supportive envirnment. I did not realise I had hit rock bottom and she was able to bring my back on the brink.
I have learnt so much from her, I can hoenstly say I am a changed person. Cannot recommend her enough and want to take this opporunity to thank her for all the work we have done so far and looking forward to future sessions.
So far I am very happy, I am brand new to this and she has offered comforting words that I do believe she means as well. I’m very happy to be working with her.
Sue is great! She listens and understands our concerns. She offers good, sound advice and she really cares about our situation. She checks in with us when we have not communicated for awhile.
