About me
I am a mental health and substance dependency counselor licensed in both Georgia and Arizona with over 30+ years of experience working as a counselor, addiction therapist and with life coaching issues. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, career choices, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges and many solution focused issues. I also have worked with those who have histories with the criminal justice system and understand the issues behind reentry and starting life again after release from prison.
Though I am not a marriage and family therapist, I believe that issues in relationships should be talked about in a safe space, where solutions can be derived and a new course can be set. I have worked with families and couples, mainly connected to the criminal justice system.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I also believe that it is important to be honest and help my clients work through their issues; I cannot solve it for you but I will help you gain the tools and the mindset to do so.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lisa Haughey. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Lisa is great! I'm sure it's hard for her handling the 2 of us.
Always checks in
I’ve only had two sessions with Lisa so far, but I’m already so thankful for her!! She’s been such a shining light and I look forward to our sessions!! We love Lisa so far, though it's only been like 2 weeks. She's communicated how we needed to hear and so far we are already doing better.

Lisa is awesome!
Our first session went well. I know she'll be a good fit for us.
This has helped me so much during this hard time in my life. I started trying to do couples counseling but after my wife refuse I stayed on to get 1 on 1 helping understand that I could no longer blame myself for the broken marriage.
Lisa is wonderful. She is a very good active listener and makes the effort to understand. She is funny and warm and brings lightness to sessions. We really enjoy our sessions and feel like we are both heard and understood, which has really helped both of us.
