About Me

Hi, I am an individual and family therapist. I started my educational journey at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York where I obtained an associate degree. I then went to Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, New York and obtained my bachelors as a Generalist in Human Services. Then I went to University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California and obtained my Masters of Social Work. I spent the next six years working professionally with individuals who have the disease of Addiction. Working with individuals that have addiction also gave myself experience working with homelessness, troubles with the law, mental health disorders, trauma, gang affiliation, medical issues, grief and loss, and family or relationship problems wrapped around addiction. I have personally worked with substance use disorders for over 20+ years.
I have 6+ yrs of professional experience working with individuals and their families that have been affected by the disease of addiction. I have the understanding and knowledge to educate family members on the path of their loved ones recovery and assisting with family therapy to keep family members together.
As a therapist I prefer to work with couples that have substance related issues and it is my mission to assist you in achieving your goals in a safe, trusting, nonjudgmental and respectful manner.

I have had one session and I can say she is great at what she does. I appreciate the fact that she allows everything to be put out on the table. I hope to gain from this experience

After our 1st session with Leeann, we were both very impressed with her ability to listen and offer advice. Exactly what we’ve been looking for.
