Yes, It's time.
Often, all we need is to give ourselves permission to take that step. You are here because you have taken that step to seek support and understanding. You are ready to make changes that allow you to have control over your journey. Relationships require work to be healthy and successful. It requires a willingness to open up to your partner so you can hear and comprehend what they are communicating to you. Many times we are so distracted by our emotions and outside pressures that our hearing is distorted resulting in miscommunications. I'm here to assist you and your partner with not only hearing clearing but comprehending what is being heard and said.
I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor with over 10 years experience in the services field. I believe therapy fosters empowerment, self-compassion, and growth. Therapy is best when it’s a collaboration. You are the expert on yourself and with guidance you can begin to hear yourself more clearly. Together we can implement and improve goal-setting and goal striving abilities, build and maintain healthy relationships with others and reconnect to self.
My approach includes mindfulness, dialectical behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapies with a strength-based emphasis. My experience in using these modalities have helped individuals navigate relationships, process trauma, explore gender identity, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Empowering clients to find the freedom and confidence within themselves to take ownership and accountability to their mental health and overall wellness is one of my primary goals as a therapist.
My counseling style is compassionate, engaging, conversational and collaborative. I work in tandem with clients to pursue change based on their unique personality and fundamental values. I look forward to providing a safe and trusting space to listen to your specific concerns without judgement and help you to achieve the peace of mind you deserve.
