About me
I truly respect your decision to seek couple's counseling at this time. Facing relationship, intimacy and couple's issues head-on is how they get resolved or healed. I know the right fit between therapist and a couple is imperative. My approach is to treat you with absolute, unconditional positive regard and respect. I will not be on "one" side and both people will feel heard and understood. I am only "on the side" of the relationship and with helping you heal what is hurting. Respect is so important. I will treat both of you with the utmost respect.
My therapeutic style, mindfulness. and solutions focused. The approach I use with couples is guided by what feels right in the session and not limited to one-style-fits-all. I see the goal as working with you on what you came to address and giving you tools for that, while helping you feel, safe, connected and close to each other.
I may give you homework to do between each session if that works for you.
