About me

Hello and welcome,

My name is Kita Tabachka, and I’m a registered therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), based in the United Kingdom. I have over 3 years of clinical experience working with individuals from all over the world—both online and in person.

I support people facing anxiety, panic attacks, stress, low self-esteem, emotional exhaustion, trauma, grief, depression, and relationship challenges—both personal and professional. My work is grounded in empathy, honesty, and deep understanding.

I work with adults, teens, and young people, helping them navigate difficult emotions, transitions, identity questions, and mental health struggles. I also support parents who are trying to understand and better connect with their children or teens, especially during challenging periods.

While I also offer therapy for couples when needed, the majority of my practice focuses on individual therapy. What sets my approach apart is my ability to hold a safe space where you can be fully yourself—without judgment or pressure. This isn’t about surface-level advice or quick fixes. Therapy with me is about real change that starts from the inside out.

Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience and deep emotional insight to my work. I know what it’s like to look “fine” on the outside while quietly struggling inside—and I’m here to help you bridge that gap.

I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk beside you and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that are ready to heal and grow.

Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage. If you’re reading this—you’ve already taken it. I’d be honoured to support you from here.

So far we have found the sessions very helpful and we have noticed the impact it's having on our day to day, helping us to pause and think, considering eachother a bit more and communicating better

My husband and I have been seeing Kita for couples counseling, and we haven’t been going long, but feel that she has been good for us and look forward to bettering our communication with each other. We both like and appreciate how forward she is and gets to the point quickly— no beating around the bush.

So far, Kita has provided my partner and I with a safe space to discuss everything personal to us, both as a couple and individually. Kita has done so with genuine care, warmth and compassion, and her authenticity is refreshing.

We are only very early on in our journey through couples therapy, but Kita has helped ease this process significantly and for that, we are very grateful.

I have never met a therapist like Kita! So welcoming, intelligent and understanding. She provides a safe space for me to open up, but also gives solutions and advice that is honest. Would highly recommend Kita to anyone.

Kita is truly one of a kind. <3

Me and my partner are both in the spectrum, and while it has its advantages sometimes it is difficult to navigate real life. When we first came to her, we were feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to move forward.

We love each other deeply, but we were stuck in patterns that were hurting our relationship and ourselves. fromm the very first session, (and even before that becase we chatted via text first) Kita created a space that felt safe, judgment-free, and deeply supportive.

She has this rare gift of knowing exactly how to say what needs to be said. She has a way of speaking that is warm, clear, and grounded, and she knows when to give that much-needed wake-up call. She’s helped us see things we couldn’t see on our own and understand each other better.

The materials she’s shared and the tools she’s taught us have been incredibly helpful. We are learning how to manage our emotions better, (that includes anxiety on my end) how to communicate and how to understand each other’s triggers.

Honestly I can’t recommend Kita enough. We still have a long way to go, but every week that passes helps both of us have a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other.

Thank you, Kita, from the bottom of our hearts. We’re so incredibly grateful for you and I am glad we are on this journey together :)

Work with me!
