Hi there!
I operate from the belief that individuals are less likely to experience psychological distress when they are living in accordance with the things that matter most in life! Unfortunately, we sometimes lose sight of these values and end up spinning our wheels or putting time and energy into things that aren't necessarily consistent with those values. I consider my role within the therapeutic relationship as a navigator to assist clients in clarifying their "true north" and choose actions consistent with their long-term goals.
I am a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Central, Pennsylvania. I primarily operate from the framework of acceptance and commitment therapy but am always excited to meet a client where they are at and support them in a way that is conducive with their needs. I work for a large community mental health agency and am excited to enter the world of tele-health.
