About me

Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I have been in the Mental Health and Substance field for over 20 years and have done extensive work within in that time period helping couples seek the unity they so much desire. Couples therapy is designed to bring out the best in you and your partner, strengthening the quality of your relationship, as a point of balance, allowing you to deal with issues in ways that support you to grow as individuals and a couple. An emotionally fulfilling couple relationship is very much within reach, yet involves the willingness of BOTH to stretch, and get to know and see, love and value both self and the other as unique beings, learning one another’s love language so to speak, as a basis for promoting a sense of safety and mutual understanding. There are several goals I like to focus on which include:
-Deepen knowledge and understanding of YOURSELF, your partner and your relationship.
-Identify one another’s fears and know what each needs to feel safe in the relationship. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND OFTEN NOT FOCUSED ON)
-Talk together and listen in a way that each feels accepted, validated and understood.
-Identify and replace old habits, defenses and coping strategies with enriching ones.
-Rediscover the romance and the fun in your relationship.
Change can be difficult and I commend one for taking the necessary steps to self improvement and growth . I am confident I will being able to assist you in that process and I look forward to working with both you.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kenya Foster. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.

Exceptional ! Well vexed in her work and a great listener . The energy she brings to not only fixing us, but individual selves is selfless and remarkable. Strongly recommend. I just wish she had more availability. Everyone wants her !

If anyone was going to be able to help our marriage, it was going to be Dr. Foster. The best therapist we could’ve asked for.

Kenya is absolutely wonderful! I trust her expertise with my whole being. She actively listens and provides her professional sound advice clearly and often times with simple examples and helpful analogies. I can tell she really cares about the livelihood of my relationship with my partner as she's always super happy for us when we have a good week and coaching us through the tough ones. Another thing is that she's super intuitive. She can really gage through body language and tone of voice through the video call if something deeper is going on and digs into that. I would highly recommend Kenya for individual and/or partner counseling.

Work with me!
