About me

Keiana Jones, Ed.S., LPC-S, LCMHC, is a compassionate and trauma-informed mental health clinician with 29 years and counting of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Mississippi, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in Utah, and a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) in Delaware. Keiana currently provides teletherapy services through platforms such as BetterHelp and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, including Blomquist Hale Solutions.
Keiana earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University and later obtained her Master of Science in Counseling Education from Mississippi State University. She also holds an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in a counseling-related field. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in crisis intervention, mental health assessments, treatment planning, trauma-informed care, emotional stabilization, and supporting clients through difficult life transitions and complex emotional experiences.
Keiana specializes in working with clients experiencing anxiety, panic disorders, trauma, PTSD, relationship and marital concerns, domestic violence, infidelity, grief, burnout, stress management, emotional dysregulation, attachment wounds, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. She also has experience working with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, crisis stabilization, at-risk youth populations, and individuals navigating complex family or relational dynamics.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in creating emotional safety for her clients. Keiana believes therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools that empower clients to create meaningful and sustainable change. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused work, strengths-based therapy, and psychoeducation. She frequently incorporates grounding exercises, emotional regulation techniques, self-reflection exercises, journaling prompts, and between-session assignments to support continued growth outside of therapy sessions.
When working with couples and families, Keiana places strong emphasis on improving communication, rebuilding trust, strengthening emotional safety, increasing accountability, and helping individuals recognize unhealthy relational patterns and blind spots that may contribute to conflict or disconnection.
Clients often describe Keiana as empathetic, supportive, and easy to talk to. She strives to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to openly explore difficult experiences while developing healthier coping skills, boundaries, and emotional awareness.
Outside of her professional work, Keiana enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, exploring personal growth and wellness topics, and engaging in self-care activities.
