I am licensed in Virginia with 40 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, lgbtq+ related issues, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

So far, it's been an outstanding experience. We are only two sessions in, and we are finding our way together to what the issues may be and how to fix them. Kathryn gives excellent advice and provides alternate ways to get past a "roadblock".

Kathryn instantly makes you feel comfortable and provides a judgment free zone to just be yourself. I have never participated in any sort of therapy before and was nervous and apprehensive. Within the first three minutes, I felt like I was venting to a lifelong friend. She is very understanding, explains things well, and offers lots of insight and guidance to help. I would highly recommend Kathryn.
