Hello and welcome! My name is Kathleen O'Connell and I am a clinical mental health counselor licensed in North Carolina with 7 years of experience working in the counseling field. Relational issues are a common denominator in almost everyone's life! I have experience working with couples dealing with divorce, separation, pre-marital, long-distance, and other partnership struggles. As a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, I can also help couples dealing with substance use disorders and behavioral addictions. When working with couples, I primarily use a blend of Family System's Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Focused Therapy. However, every relationship is different, so I will tailor your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. You each deserve to be heard and validated.
