Greeting and Salutations,
You have stumbled upon a unicorn in the counseling field, a African American male Licensed and Marriage and Family Therapist. In my 14+ years in the profession, I have provided counseling every where from the mountains of North Carolina to the streets of Atlanta, and would like to believe I am well versed in dealing with a variety of populations. I truly believe that families are the building blocks of our society, and am willing to do what's necessary to cultivate healthy relationships.
Being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I think systemic, and look at relationships as a whole. Over the years I have become very eclectic in my approach, and draw upon solution focused therapy, experiential therapy, all wrapped around family systems. I have a very straight forward approach, while interjecting humor when appropriate. I believe there is nothing wrong with couples fighting, as long is the fight is on how to stay together.

Johnathan was an amazing help during the healing process between my partner and I.
