About me
Hello and Welcome to Regain,
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker and Addictions Counselor in Michigan. My educational major and practice were family therapy including couples therapy for many years. I have had the privilege of being able to counsel couples at various stages in their relationship from dating through a divorce. I believe navigating relationships is about cooperating and communicating in order to share in the appropriate distribution of power and responsibility when we are partnered with one another. I have worked with challenges between couples that included addiction, domestic abuse, infidelity, intimacy differences and beyond. My therapeutic expertise includes trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused interventions, family systems theory and motivational interviewing. All interventions stem from a holistic approach.
I believe in using an ecological and eclectic approach with couples. This allows you both to create unique solutions that serve whats best for your specific situation.

Jodi is great! We were hesitant about the whole thing at first. Almost cancelled all together. Once we got Jodi our minds were put to ease. She was referred and I see why. Very patient and down to earth but very effective and will tell you what you need to hear!
