About me
Dr. Jill Foxman has a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology and couples counseling is available for developing more intimate and stable relationships. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Jill treats a diverse clientele, ranging from couples to individuals of different ethnic and gender lines. Her specialties include desire and intimacy, addictions ( sex and love, drug and alcohol and body image issues.)
Imago therapy and solution focused therapy are the modalities used to help couples understand each other and communicate more effectively. Having insight to any challenge is only half the battle. Finding a solution is the way to a successful healthy relationship. Sometimes, when couples focus too much on fixing the problem the focus becomes on what doesn't work in the relationship. Solution focus therapy stresses the importance of what does work in a relationship and doing more of it.
'
Imago therapy is about languaging and communication. Couples communicate and perceive situations in their own way. A technique called mirroring is used to mimic back what your partner says rather than assume what is heard. This allows for a clear understanding.
Communication is the key to all relationships!!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Jill Foxman. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Dr. Foxman is a wonderful therapist, she listens to both sides without being bias. She has many assignments and comes up with a different approach to difficult solutions. I will rate her 10 out of 10
Amazing very caring and helpful listens to my needs and offers me the helping hand that I need. Would strongly reccomend to anyone going through a rough patch in theor lives
very helpful and understanding and easy to talk to.
Doctor J. and I connected immediately and it was clear from the start that she has a world of experience and credentials backing her up. She explained to me how important it is to have good rapport with your therapist in order to open the lines up for meaningful communication, which is essential to talk therapy. The homework she assigned helped to change my perspective on things like being overly passive and avoiding conflict, dealing with feelings of shame, and the importance of re-parenting yourself after childhood trauma by teaching me how to be compassionate with myself. She has given me multiple resources to pursue outside of sessions and I am excited to continue seeing her. Her words are heartfelt and personal, and she made me feel special which is much more comforting than encounters I have had with therapy in the past. 10/10 Would definitely recommend this sweet, down-to-earth, tell-it-like-it-is therapist for all your mental health needs. :]
She is just perfect.
