About me
Most couples do not have a communication problem — they have a pattern problem.
Conflict often shows up around communication, intimacy, finances, parenting, or household responsibilities. Beneath those topics is usually a predictable cycle: one partner pursues, the other withdraws; one escalates, the other shuts down; both feel increasingly misunderstood.
I specialize exclusively in structured couples therapy designed to identify and interrupt that cycle.
My process begins with a structured assessment that includes individual meetings with each partner before we move into joint sessions. This reduces defensiveness and allows me to understand each partner’s attachment style, stress load, and emotional triggers clearly. In heterosexual marriages, I often meet with the husband first to address common concerns about being blamed or outnumbered, helping establish neutrality and trust early in the process.
Sessions are active and contained. I guide conversations so they remain productive rather than circular. We focus on attachment dynamics, emotional safety, and the deeper meaning behind recurring conflict — including misunderstandings around intimacy and physical connection.
Couples who benefit most are willing to examine their own contributions to the cycle and engage in structured, accountable work toward repair.
If you are looking for a direct, focused approach rather than endless discussion of the same argument, we may be a strong fit.

Jessica was awesome! She was always responsive whenever we reached out. She was always helpful, a great listener, and very kind.
Jessica is awesome to work with. She has been able to figure out our personalities very quickly and stays neutral between partners. This is my husband’s first time working with a therapist and for him to also like her and feel understood makes this whole process beneficial for the both of us!
Seems very skilled.
