I am a Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Virginia. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and a Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) with almost 6 years of experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, addiction, OCD, and family problems. I’ve also guided people on how to reach goals, make important life decisions, and helped them achieve their goals for a greater purpose for their lives.
My counseling style is client-centered, collaborative, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe helping you process your emotions in a safe nonjudgmental environment, will allow you to feel more in control and safer before we get into heaver topics.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, person centered. Each person is unique and so is your treatment. We will work together to formulate a treatment plan based on your needs. Some of the techniques I’ve used in the past are journaling, homework assignments, mindfulness practices, worksheets, and videos.
I look forward to getting to know you better and helping you to achieve your goals!

Jessica Eddins has helped us understand our past and the real reasons why we respond the way we do. She's given us coping tools to become better.
She does such a wonderful job
Jessica has been the perfect counselor for my husband and I to feel safe and supported in looking at ourselves and our strengths. It’s been great working with her!
Jessica expertise thus far has been helpful for our situation.
Jessica was a relatable and trustworthy counseling. Our short time with her has been meaningful and extremely helpful and we will be back to use to the service because of her! She is amazing!
My wife and I have only had two sessions with Jessica so far but she seems to be a good fit for us. She’s very patient and she seems to have mastered the art of being neutral in our disagreements. She checks in throughout the week and gives us alternative ways to work on our goals independently in between sessions. I’m optimistic about growing our relationship with her help.
