About me

Hi,
My name is Jeanne Assinthe. I started my professional life as a teacher in Miami Dade County. She went on to work as a state correctional officer and then started working as a Targeted Case Manager/Therapist and Parenting Educator (serving high-risk families involve in DCF). Because of my work with high-risk youth and my direct observation of trauma, I decided to establish Amitie (a Virtual Wellness Center) . I enjoy my multiple roles as a Telehealth Assessor, Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. My passion led me to create clinical programs, including an independent Living Skills curriculum dedicated to young adults age 16 to 24 in and out of the foster care system.

Relationship is hard, especially when we lacked the appropriate model or the ability to assertively advocate for our individual needs. I listen to each member, support in establishing common ground and help both parties advocate for their needs and the need of the union that they desire to develop and maintain.

Jeanne is great but the website regain gives alot of problems. the app always kicks me out, the video call fails. Online Therapy is great but is malfunctioning to often for me.

Jeanne is insightful in meetings. I would like it if she responded to our messages more. I have wrote a lot and feel there is little to no response to any of my messages. I want to process some stuff in between sessions in text and it doesn’t seem like I am able to with her.

Ms. Assinthe has been a great help to us and are continuing to be a great help as we get through this relationship funk. She has been a beacon of light when it comes down to helping us target the root cause and problems that seem to hit our relationship hard. And for that, I truly thank her for helping us with everything.
