About me
Welcome! My name is Dr. Janice, and I am so excited to virtually meet you. I am passionate about helping people go from doubtful and insecure to assertive and confident. MY mission is to provide therapy to help people heal childhood wounds, create/set/stick to boundaries, embrace self-care, tap into their intuitive wisdom, find their voices, discover their resilience, and confidently live their lives.
As a therapist who has been blind since birth, I am able to use my knowledge and background from both ends of the spectrum in order to provide specialized therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups who are experiencing vision loss. In addition to therapy, I am able to help you and your family access specific local services and state resources.
My approach is warm, interactive, and compassionate. I love strategizing with my clients to find viable options and solutions for growth and making sustainable changes.
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, lgbt-affirming and related issues, couples/family/relationship issues, as well as motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts, feelings, and topics can be shared without fear of judgment. I am an anti-racist, LGBTQ+ afirming therapist who is also a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Janice Moran. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
My husband and I are were skeptical about couples therapy. But it’s been wonderful to work with Dr. Moran. We have been able to work things that sometimes would be become bigger than they needed to be with her help.
We immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Moran, and really liked that we could jump into the sessions quickly and easily. No, “this is who I am, tell me about you.” Just straight into what’s going on, how can I help you. They listen very well, and provide a lot of great help.
Patient, kind, and extremely helpful navigating tough conversations. Recommend!
Dr. Moran is a very intuitive and attentive therapist, and very realistic in her approach. She does a wonderful job and I couldn’t recommend her enough.
