Welcome! I am a licensed therapist with almost nine years of experience in individual, family, and group therapy. I am passionate about supporting others in their journey to find inner peace and balance. Mental health often creates barriers to the ability to have healthy relationships, motivation to utilize healthy coping skills, and to find joy in daily life. I am currently licensed in Tennessee as a LCSW (#6086) and am a nationally certified TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist) nationwide. I have experience in working with individuals, families and adolescents on a variety of life issues such as; depression, anxiety, mood, anger, family conflict, relationships, and trauma. I have training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and Play Therapy. My treatment style is rooted in a client or family centered psycho-dynamic approach. I have provided services in outpatient, inpatient, school based, detention, and in-home settings.
After twenty two years of marriage I firmly believe that no relationship is not without the need for growth and attention. There are times when couples struggle to find meaning in their conflict and better understand each others needs. Seeking a supportive therapist who can help improve communication, conflict resolution, and guidance on how to improve your relationship takes courage. If you are seeking to go on a journey to heal, achieve mental health wellness, then you have to look no farther. You will find connection that is based in empathy. We all need someone to reach out to and who can be non-judgmental and supportive.

She listens and makes me feel comfortable so I can share my story and be my true self.
Jamie was curious, helpful and respectful to both of us. She asked very pertinent questions and made some important observations about both of us. Then offered suggestions that we consider and learn about some things that she saw. Both of us felt empowered to check her suggestions out and learn more about ourselves. We feel good about the things we are learning and genuinely look forward to our sessions with Jamie. I gladly recommend her as a therapist.
Jamie is very understanding and does not judge in terms of our issues and situation. She is also very easy to speak with and she is very fair to the both of us and her words are perfect for our situation and not biased in any way.
