About Me

Hi, I’m Jacqui

Thanks for dropping by to get to know me.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 17 years of experience licensed in Ohio. I have worked with a variety of agencies specializing in complex trauma , grief and working with people who have disabilities. I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grieving, social interactions, personality disorders, career challenges and post traumatic stress disorder.

My counseling style is gentle and interactive. I believe in working together to find strategies and solutions that work for you and your situation. I have experience with various types of therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychotherapy and Equine Therapy but what I find works best is good old fashioned listening and engaging. Sometimes finding what is at the core of our problems comes up when we least expect it.Then the therapy techniques help us make sense of what we are thinking and feeling. It might happen with art or journaling or music each of us is different and unique.

Relationships can be a wonderful source of encouragement and strength but they can also be incredibly stressful and destructive. The first step is willingness to either regain that lost connection or rediscover a new one. The world is continually changing place and so are we. Those transitions are never easy but there are ways to regulate our emotions, cope with stress and work together instead of against each other.

I would love to chat with you and join you on this journey

Jacqueline has been an amazing counselor for me and my partner. We seem to really be on the same page as to our goals and she's really taken the time to understand us as individuals and the unique quirks circumstances and challenges of our relationship. I feel confident going into a session with her that I will leave with something new to think about and feeling refreshed.
