Grace Norberg

About Me

Are you feeling anxious, sad or unsatisfied in your relationship, and stuck in figuring out how to attract the connection you want or repair what you have? I believe that all problems are relational- being human is to care about connection! I am here to help you analyze what is going wrong, and find new patterns that can help you manifest a healthy relationship. I look at change as something necessary but difficult- we tend to remain the same and follow old patterns until they no longer work for us. That's where I come in as a therapist, to help you through this difficult time with empathy and an outside perspective.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and trained at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I am skilled in working with more than one person, and bring my relational perspective into therapy with individuals. I specialize in helping with anxiety, depression, infidelity, intimacy issues, loss of connection, argument patterns and communication.
I recognize that taking the step to reach out to a therapist is a great leap towards change, and also one of the hardest things to do. I try to make this as go as smoothly as possible by responding promptly, answering any questions you may have, and developing a trusting relationship with each person in service of the couple.
