About me
I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 17 years of experience and have worked in a variety of settings and management capacities. I earned a bachelors degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. I hold the following credentials LMHC, MCAP, ACS, CGAC and I am a clinical member of the American Counseling Association, the Dialectical Behavior Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association and EMDRIA as an approved provider respectively.
The primary focus of my practice has been in addictions and co-occurring conditions working both with adolescents and adults; helping to manage all that accompanies a substance-related or addictive disorder which includes marriage/couple relational concerns. As it relates to couples where either one or both have an issue with addiction its been about helping couples recognize that partners need support too, that the enabling of the addiction is a relationship problem, helping couples to work through emotional issues, identifying and solving problems associated with the addiction and repairing and resolving relationship problems. I have also helped clients successfully address a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, career challenges, gender identity and LGBTQI+ that might be affecting a marriage/couple.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I practice a blended, technically eclectic model of evidence-based therapies with strengths-based philosophies. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, solution focused, Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Martha "Grace" Marquez. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Grace is absolutely wonderful! She is so very easy to talk to and I would highly recommend seeing her!
We love Grace. She is very insightful and helpful when it comes to us rebuilding our relationship
Grace is a good listener and very helpful! Thanks!
Grace was great! She gave wonderful advice and was very supportive.
Dr. Grace has been very helpful for us. Our marriage was hurt, and we didn’t know how to communicate or heal things. Dr. Grace gave us the space to be vulnerable with each other, is teaching us how to regain trust, and we now look forward to each of our meetings.
Grace is easy to talk to, understanding and non judgemental. We have enjoyed her as our counselor so far!
She is amazing all around. She is very easy to talk to and fair and reasonable in her asks of us as individuals and a couple.
