About me

I am Gary Ward, I have been a professional counselor since 2009, being licensed in Texas in three areas. My credentials are as an LPC, LMFT and LCDC. I hold a Masters in Professional Counseling, and a Doctorate in Ministry, with a focus in pastoral counseling. I spent ten years in ministry working with families, couples and individuals. I also spent fifteen years in public education working with high school students with learning difficulties and their families. I am married, have four adult children and ten grand children. Though I have several approaches to therapy, my focus is to apply and provide help that is best suited for the person and their circumstances. I try to help couples find and utilize their strengths and abilities to help them find fulfillment with each other. They are an ongoing journey together, one that be very rewarding. Though it involves challenges and sometimes making changes, it is normal. I want to come along side you and help you meet your goals. I will offer compassion, acceptance and respect. I look forward to meeting and giving you help in any way I can.
