About me
I began my counseling career 14 years ago as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Dallas Texas where I was a therapist and family counselor at Solutions Outpatient Services. After 3 years at SOS, I took a position at Enterhealth treatment facility in Van Alstyne, Texas as one of their first primary therapists. I left Enterhealth a year later to open a private practice In Dallas. In 2010 my wife and I moved to the majestic Pacific Northwest. Currently I live in Kirkland, WA and have an 8 year old son and a pug.
My approach is person centered and eclectic. I integrate and blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems Theory and other philosophies and techniques. Please know that I have the greatest respect for your courage. Feelings can be overwhelming and disorienting. Intense emotions can be frightening and painful. Depression robs us of the moments in life that are truly worth savoring. It is my firm belief that all emotions have value and utility, containing large veins of information if we take the time to drill down a bit. The more we can embrace and utilize the full spectrum of our experience, from joy to pain, the greater our capacity for self actualization becomes. It is my hope that we can collaborate on a journey of discovery; one that fosters awareness, clarity, acceptance, and change.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Frank Aldridge. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
Frank is really, really kind. He listens and was willing to start with the basics. This helps me because I have a lot of habitual communication behaviors that were exposed over the past few years of marriage, and my Wife and I began building resentments. He's helped us talk about those.
Only had one appointment so far, but very satisfied
Frank was very calm, understanding and helpful to me during some difficult times. I’m very thankful for him!
Frank is a wonderful to therapist! Kind, approachable, insightful and supportive of both people.
Our therapist does a great job of: listening, giving positive feed back, helpful reminders, goals, and materials to read. It has made a tremendous impact on our marriage as well as other relationships outside of our marriage.
He is very understanding and patient. He has given us a lot of guidance and we feel so happy to be able to learn and grow from his counsel.
Frank is very good at incubating conversation and most of all building up the relationship. I feel safe and taught when our session ends every time. Lots of growth available for couples and individuals if Frank is Your navigator.
