Progress within counseling is dependent upon clear boundaries, consistent expectations, and genuine care on the part of each member of the dyad. The communication exercises I implement with couples are similar to what I use with families, and using a Family Systems approach allows both individuals to be heard and understood. Attachment issues, depression, and anxiety can be treated within the context of couples counseling. The establishment of “fair fighting” ground rules ensures that respect is maintained during the counseling process, and the use of eclectic techniques provides a concrete method for working toward the desired improvements agreed upon by both partners.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dorie Scofield. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with ReGain might be different.
We have been working with Dorie for about 2 months now. She is very helpful. I am going through a very tough time right now and Dorie has been there. She responds to messages promptly even if it’s late at night in her time zone, she is dedicated and also is on time for the sessions. I feel she genuinely cares, and has offered her services to other people in our family to help move things in a better direction. She offers unbiased views and helps formulate a plan for you to implement in your life with is very helpful. She has also helped with family issues that involve parenting my toddler. She gives numerous resources to help you as well. She is very down to earth and isn’t afraid to call you out on something if she feels like something is out of line which I appreciate. If you are looking for real results with problem solving she is the best person to have, I can’t say enough positive things about her!
Dorie is very helpful. She helps both of us work through things together.
I've been through multiple therapists, and Dorie is by far the most understanding; plus down to earth .
I would recommend her services to my family and friend's.
