Couples Therapy

Hello my name is Derrick Collins and I am a licensed therapist for 27 years. I am trained as a family therapist with a specialty in adolescents. My specialty is in dealing with depression and anxiety disorders. I have worked with couples in both a christian and non-christian environments.

There is a constant ebb and flow with relationships and sometimes we get stuck in one of these evolvements and may need some help sorting things out. We may need a professional to offer an outside perspective and help find common ground. Since communication is the foundation for any healthy relationship, that is often where we begin the journey. We explore how to resolve conflict and manage it in the future.

I recognize that one paragraph will not sum up who I am and what I can offer you. Please know that I am committed to working with people that are choosing to get help for themselves. My treatment style focuses on making sure that each person has an opportunity to voice their concerns and adequate work is given to making sure that each partner is heard and as much as possible understood. While there are no guarantees in therapy, I am committed to doing my best to help you.
