About me
Throughout my 40 plus years of experience as a clinical psychologist I developed not only literature and research knowledge in the area of relationships and couples therapy, but have been able to combine this information with life experiences conducting marital and relationship therapy as a married professional. There is no replacement for this combination which enables me as a therapist to relate to my clients’ problems in this area. I offer room for my couples to air their grievances, struggles, emotional pain and focus on building or re-building their relationship in a safe, compassionate, and deeply understanding environment. There are boundaries in my sessions where deliberately cruel, manipulative, emotionally destructive and verbally abusive attacks and behavior are unwelcomed. Foundation of openness, genuineness, trust, empathy, commitment, reciprocity, and mutual focus on goals of the relationship are paramount. The risk, willingness, and courage to work on relationship problems are given the acknowledgement and respect deserved.
