My name is Dennis Doke. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT-S) and a licensed professional counselor (LPC-S) in Texas.
I conducted child custody evaluations in Dallas. I decided to help couples learn strategies that could help them communicate better and to explore how to build a satisfying and rewarding relationship. I use the Gottman Couples Therapy in my work with couples. I completed Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Creating a fulfilling relationship takes work, and it requires patience to maintain a healthy balance with oneself, with a partner, and with children as they continue to transition through life’s stages.
I understand that life and relationships are fragile. I am here to support and encourage you. I am compassionate about my interest in helping couples find healing in their relationship.
I look forward to working with you!

Very patient and helpful
Dennis is an amazing therapist, he has truly changed our lives and has helped out my family tremendously. He truly cares and wants to help people. He’s the best !
Very kind and knowledgeable. Patient and teaches. Also a Christian, which we liked.
Dennis is wonderful. We like talking with Dennis.
Dennis has been really helpful to our marriage. He is objective and very easy to talk to. Even my husband, who was very adverse to the idea of therapy, was able to open up with him. Dennis has opened up our communication within our marriage and our ability to be honest with both each other and ourselves. He has also provided us with useful strategies to help us avoid the pitfalls of our negative routines. I’m thankful to him for giving me a real sense of hope that we can make positive changes and grow a healthy and happy relationship from a marriage I was truly convinced was ending.
Dennis has always been quick to respond to all communications and journal entries. He is kind and patient in listening to our emotions, wants, and needs and turns that into something translatable and something we can put into practice.
He is the best therapist he listens to the said and the unsaid statements
Dennis is awesome. We’ve already told him that we feel like we’ve struck gold with him. We were both apprehensive about doing this counseling but he has put us at ease.
We are three sessions in with Dennis and both like him a lot. Thought provoking and insightful. I was worried my wife would not like someone I liked or would rather have a female therapist. Dennis truly cares about his work and the people he works with.
He’s is very nice and caring. He is also very nonjudgmental of either parties.
