I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has spent over 27 years helping others through relationship issues, family conflict, anxiety, anger, and grief, I am a veteran counselor as well as an educator. Therefore, I thrive on learning and have always been quick to master skills.
Some of the modalities I have used that work well with family and relationship conflicts are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples. I also utilize my knowledge from training in the Level I Gottman Couples method.
I would feel privileged working with you to learn about your current relationship challenges and how I can best help you set and meet goals that will help you reconnect as a couple in a healthy healing relationship. Let’s work together to learn what approach and strategies will be most beneficial for your specific relationship needs.
You will become empowered and enlightened with self-awareness and strategies that will immediately begin directing your relationship in a more positive direction. I am here to guide you through a process that will help you reach your goals for healing. You are encouraged to express all thoughts and feeling without judgement because this is a safe non-judgement zone. Some sessions may be more thought-provoking and/or challenging than others, but I am here to help you through every one of them.
You are courageous in taking this first step in a journey of awareness and restoration, be proud of this step and be ready to work together to overcome your challenges. I would be honored to begin the journey with you.
I look forward to meeting you.

Cynthia was a pleasure to work with. She kept us on point with the agreed upon rules of our engagement. She is personable and knowledgeable.
Have you ever felt super frustrated when your partner doesn’t understand you, you think you are communicating with a wall, or have lost intimacy after having a baby... yeah that was us! Cynthia has helped guide us to a better understanding of each other through exercises and communication. I would 100% recommend to every couple!
I have only have 2 sessions so far, but she has been very helpful so far.
Cynthia is very kind and compassionate with her counseling technique. She really has helped our relationship progress in a positive direction.
