Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Cynia Black. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Regain might be different.
My husband and I are new to regain, and to Cynia, but our experience couldn’t be better - so far. The communication options, the scheduling, the platform, the payments… it’s all SO easy! Our last therapist wasn’t a great fit and that’s always worrisome when moving forward to a new person when looking for help. The unpacking.. I dont think anyone wants to unpack their situation multiple times! However, in the first session of meeting her - we were both pleasantly surprised. By session 3, we knew Cynia was going to be a positive fit. I appreciate how well she listens and pays attention, not not only our words but how she puts our details into a larger perspective and truly gives each of us an opportunity to speak, clarify and double backs on something we have said for further insight or clarification. She asks us hard question, and inserts “I hear what you’re saying.. ask/tell NAME how that makes you feel/think..” etc. she guides us along the edges of healthy communication, and redirects us when we get off course. All these things seem like “common sense” - but I’m here to attest that not all therapists are created equally.
We’re still on our journey, about 6 sessions in maybe! I highly recommend this platform to others seeking relationship assistance, the user friendly aspect is a complete peace of mind when you are already in chaos. I also highly recommending Cynia!
My husband and I have agreed that she is a great fit, and we look forward to the improvements in our future based on the knowledge and guidance she is already providing. 5 Stars!
My wife and I have been seeing Cynia for a short while now, and I would say so far we have been pleased with the results from our time working together. I won't say that it is always comfortable, and in point of fact sometimes we both have to hear uncomfortable things that we don't necessarily want to or enjoy hearing. However, marriage counseling is not supposed to always feel comfortable, and if we didn't need to have uncomfortable conversations we probably wouldn't have needed her services in the first place. So, overall I would say that Cynia has provided us with exactly what we were looking for, and we have been doing better since seeing her.
Cynia has been a breath of fresh air within our relationship. She listens and she assesses so well. I appreciate her approach and enthusiasm to help us navigate our relationship. Cynia is personable and knowledgeable. Thank you for being so awesome!
I’ve seen a number of therapists throughout the years and Cynia is by far the best I’ve worked with.
